Mosaic Medical Center will hold a groundbreaking ceremony next Tuesday for a new women’s health clinic designed to expand access to comprehensive care in northwest Missouri.

Tuesday, Oct. 22 marked a brisk afternoon in downtown Maryville. People gathered along the sidewalk across from the Courthouse Square, browsing vendors and chatting with neighbors at the annual 'For the Girls' event, hosted to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month and allow women to book mammograms and discuss the disease. This is the fourth year the event has been held.

The environmental services team at Mosaic Medical Center–Maryville has been recognized for its efforts to keep the hospital clean, earning a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
