The Nodaway County Historical Society will be hosting author Lance Dorrel on Saturday, March 14th at 1pm.
Dorrel is a well-known name in Nodaway County, and this talk will be an opportunity to learn about the impressive research skills behind the man. Dorrel is a historian and ethnographer who has spent the last 20 years researching the Battle of Little Bighorn, and his recent book The History They Tell shows us how to understand this battle through the oral histories of the Native American people who fought in it.
The NCHS Museum is located at 1st and Walnut Streets in Maryville, and this program is free and open to the public.
