The Nodaway Chorale will present a milestone concert celebrating two decades of exceptional choral music. The concert is on Sunday, April 26, at 4:00 p.m. at the Schneider Performing Arts Center, located in Maryville High School at 1501 South Munn Avenue, Maryville. This special event, themed “From Our Hearts to Yours: A 20 Year Celebration,” honors the Chorale’s rich legacy and looks toward an exciting future. Admission is free. The Nodaway Chorale is a vibrant, non-profit, non-audition, secular mixed voice group, boasting 60 singers from communities throughout Nodaway and neighboring counties in northwest Missouri and southwest Iowa. “Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience” puts the audience at the center of the show, building each night’s setlist entirely from audience requests and the personal stories behind them.Before the show, guests fill out request cards, and their memories and song choices shape the narrative of the evening. No two performances are ever the same. The result is a heartfelt, one-of-a-kind celebration that proves The Beatles’ music truly is the soundtrack of our lives.

Register for the Abbey Trails 5K Run / 2 Mile Walk on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9 a.m. at Conception Abbey!
Registration includes a t-shirt, door prize registration, and access to the brunch and health fair after the race.
The 5K run is on a scenic, paved road with traffic control.
For the 2 mile walk, participants estimate the time it will take to walk two miles around a paved surface on the Abbey grounds. The person finishing closest to their estimated time wins (see registration form). 1st and 2nd places, male and female in each age group. Anyone wearing a watch will be disqualified.
Registration and Packet pick up for the in-person event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and go until 8:45 a.m. on the day of the race at the Welcome Center on the campus of Conception Abbey & Conception Seminary College.
If you are unable to join in person on May 2 but still want to participate, they invite you to join them virtually. This will be in participation only, no competition. You may complete your walk or run wherever you are. Your registration fees will provide you with a t-shirt, which will be mailed or arranged for pick-up.
Abbey Trails promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being on our campus and in the local communities and builds community among runners and walkers in Northwest Missouri. Proceeds from the event are used to promote health and wellness initiatives at Conception Abbey and in the local community.

The Drifters are one of the most enduring vocal groups in American music history, blending rhythm and blues with soul and pop to create timeless hits. Formed in the 1950s, the group became known for their smooth harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and rich sound that captured the essence of the era. Songs like “Under the Boardwalk,” “Save the Last Dance for Me,” and “Up on the Roof” remain classics that continue to inspire generations. Though the lineup has changed many times, the group’s legacy lives on. The Drifters’ music symbolizes the golden age of doo-wop and soul.

Vendors will line the square with items for sale, refreshments, a motorcycle show, live music, games for the kids, and more. This event is free to the public.
Thrill in the Ville is a high-energy motorcycle show happening on May 9th from 1–5 PM at The Pub. Featuring 7 competition categories—including Best in Show, Stock, Custom, Foreign, Chopper, Vintage, and Trike—this event brings together bike enthusiasts for a day of showcasing, judging, and community fun. Registration begins at noon, and participants vote for winners, with trophies and prizes awarded in each category. The event also includes a live performance by Bound & Determined at 8 PM, making it a full day of entertainment. Presented by Mike’s Cycles, this is a must-attend event for motorcycle and motorsport fans in Maryville.
