The Nodaway County Historical Society will be hosting author Lance Dorrel on Saturday, March 14^th at 1pm.

Dorrel is a well-known name in Nodaway County, and this talk will be an opportunity to learn about the impressive research skills behind the man. Dorrel is a historian and ethnographer who has spent the last 20 years researching the Battle of Little Bighorn, and his recent book The History They Tell shows us how to understand this battle through the oral histories of the Native American people who fought in it.

The NCHS Museum is located at 1^st and Walnut Streets in Maryville, and this program is free and open to the public.

KXCV-KRNW will be hosting its 7th annual 5K VIRTUAL Run/Walk to support local public radio.

KXCV-KRNW will be hosting a 5K VIRTUAL Run/Walk to support local public radio.

• Run or Walk 5K anytime between April 11-25, clock your time, send a selfie and a photo of your results
• Registration is $25 and $20 for Northwest students
• Participants receive a long sleeve cotton T-shirt
• When registering, use address associated with credit card
• To get your race package with shirt BEFORE the race, register by April 1
• Send results, selfies or videos to HSTAGGS@nwmissouri.edu and tag KXCV on social media
• You can run or walk 3.1 miles anywhere you choose.  Bearcat Trail

Proceeds support the programming on your local NPR station, KXCV-KRNW.
