This weekly series highlights events that happened right here in our region during the same week in years past. Previously published in the Nodaway News Leader, the series now finds a new home online following the paper’s closure. This project is a collaboration between the university’s history department and the Nodaway County Historical Society and Museum, preserving local history and making it accessible to the community once again.
