Mosaic Medical Center will hold a groundbreaking ceremony next Tuesday for a new women’s health clinic designed to expand access to comprehensive care in northwest Missouri.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Nov. 18 inside the hospital’s administration hallway, the space that will be renovated into the clinic. The ceremony is open to the public. Guests are asked to use the main entrance and follow posted signs to the event.
Hospital officials say the clinic will offer a full range of women’s health services, including preventive care, obstetrics, gynecology and wellness support. Mosaic opened a similar Women’s Care Clinic in Bedford, Iowa, earlier this year and says the facilities are part of a broader effort to meet patient needs in rural communities.
