The Chillicothe City Council will swear in newly appointed Third Ward Councilman Zebadiah Yoko during a special ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, in the council chambers.

The Chillicothe Police Department has announced expected road closures for two parades scheduled in September.

The Northwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force assisted the Chillicothe Police Department in the arrest of a United Kingdom national who authorities said traveled to Livingston County on Monday with the intent to cause alarm to a local family.
