Classic cars and community spirit will take center stage in Chillicothe next month during the 38th Annual Car Show.
The two-day event is scheduled for July 17-18 and will begin Friday evening with Cruise Night, featuring a parade of classic and custom vehicles through downtown Chillicothe. Spectators can line the streets to watch the procession and enjoy music from the 1950s and 1960s.
The celebration will continue Saturday at Simpson Park, where hundreds of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles are expected to be on display. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll through the park, view vehicles representing a variety of makes and model years, enjoy food and refreshments, and take in live entertainment throughout the day.
The family-friendly event has become one of northwest Missouri’s longest-running automotive traditions, drawing car enthusiasts, local residents and visitors together to celebrate classic vehicles and the Chillicothe community.
