The City of Chillicothe is inviting the community to a “Meet the Heartist” art reception on Friday. The reception is to celebrate the newest KC Parade of Hearts sculpture on display in downtown Chillicothe.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Silver Moon Plaza.
Community members will have an opportunity to meet sculpture artist Nicole Lauran and learn about the inspiration behind the heart design.
Refreshments, snacks, music and family-friendly activities will be available throughout the morning. Guests also will have a chance to receive a limited-edition autographed postcard commemorating the event.
The reception is free and open to the public.
