The Northwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force assisted the Chillicothe Police Department in the arrest of a United Kingdom national who authorities said traveled to Livingston County on Monday with the intent to cause alarm to a local family.
The Chillicothe Police Department has submitted two felony charges to the Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney for review.
In addition, the Northwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force is investigating potential charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information was immediately available.
