A St. Joseph man and woman were killed early Sunday when a motorcycle crashed east of St. Joseph, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is warning residents about a scam in which fraudsters use the agency’s name and image to appear legitimate while attempting to collect money from victims.

Supporters of the bill cited a February incident in which a semitruck driver went the wrong way on a Troy highway and could not pass an English proficiency test. Opponents say testing is subjective.
