The Bearcat women dropped their first game of the season to number 18 Fort Hays State, 62-48.
Northwest led by 3 at halftime and held Hays to 0-of-7 three-point shooting, but the Tigers outscored the 'Cats 24-10 in the 3rd quarter to take the lead for good.
Caely Kesten and Kelsey Fields each chipped in with 10 points.
