- A new federal farm bill remains on hold because of a partisan conflict over a dispute on resolving error rates committed by states in administrating SNAP benefits. The Senate agriculture committee defeated the latest proposal by a 10-9 party line vote. All Democrats were in attendance, while two Republicans were absent. Republicans who were present included all five committee members representing KXCV-KRNW's listening area.
- The newest edition of "This Week In Nodaway County History" includes a review of business activity, a budgeting decision by the Northwest Missouri State board of regents, and one man's reaction to a doctor's prescription for hearing loss.
