- Interstate 29 is closed between the Oregon and Mound City exits in both directions due to a vehicle crash. Check the status of the road closure online at traveler.modot.org.
- September's regular meeting of the Maryville school board took place Wednesday night. There were a variety of administrator reports and the approval of agreements involving Northwest Technical School among other campuses.
- Missouri families won’t be able to see where their school ranks on an “A” through “F” grading scale until at least mid-November. This is after the state’s board of education approved a new accountability system at Tuesday's meeting but delayed its release.
- Around 200 data center opponents attended a rally inside the Missouri state capitol building on Wednesday.
- Another attempt is being made at passing a farm bill. The Senate agriculture committee passed its latest proposal on Wednesday on a party line vote that included five Republicans who represent states in the KXCV-KRNW listening area.
- Missouri's governor issues an executive order limiting the use of license plate reading cameras.
