- Severe weather Monday night included downed trees and power lines in Clarinda that required barricading streets until debris was removed.
- As of Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., a manhunt continues south of Maryville.
- The Nodaway Chorale begins rehearsals for its 21st season next Monday.
- A Kansas City based business magazine has published its 15th annual list of "50 Missourians You Should Know". Three people on the list are from northwest Missouri and two of them are based in Maryville.
- Since Missouri streamlined enrollment in the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program for kindergarten-through-12th grade students following the pandemic, enrollment in what is nicknamed MO-CAP has quadrupled.
- A national organization whose website says they fight for sustainable food, clean water, and a livable climate contends that two fertilizer companies are profiting from high levels of nitrate and other contaminants in Iowa's ground and surface water.
