- For the third consecutive month, the Maryville city council has a lengthy discussion about allowing UTV's on city streets. The topic is expected to return for the next meeting on September 28th.
- A recent Nodaway County commission meeting attended by 15 commissioners from around the state included a discussion about data centers.
- Over 100 owners of small businesses are in Maryville this week participating in the Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities Conference.
- The U.S. House has for the third time voted to end the war in Iran. But four of the five congressmen serving the KXCV-KRNW listening area voted against the war powers resolution that would halt the president's ability to continue military action without congressional approval.
- A Gentry County man was killed in a crash in Daviess County.
- The Missouri Secretary of State is sued by a former employee who was fired after objecting to conducting a recount of a city election and changing the winner.
