After over a year of development, City Manager Ryan Heiland shared an update on Maryville’s new comprehensive plan, Maryville Momentum 2045, at the Maryville City Council meeting March 9.

Council discusses Airport Capital Improvement Plan, submits estimations to MoDOT

City Manager Ryan Heiland presented an annual review of the 2026-30 Airport CIP that was approved and submitted to the Missouri Department of Transportation. He said the projects within this plan are financed by non-primary entitlement funds.

City Manager Ryan Heiland proposes an increase in funds for the Mozingo Lake Recreation Park Bunker Renovation Project to purchase additional sod. Along with this, the Maryville City Council approved a contract with Viridity, LLC to work on the Watson 9 course once it has finished work on the Sechrest 18 course.

Bunkers at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park’s golf course have undergone renovations since the fall, but the Maryville City Council allocated more funds toward the project and added on another part of the plan at its meeting Monday.
