Northwest put together a solid defensive effort, but a slow start offensively led to a 58-42 loss to Missouri Southern.
The Bearcats (11-14, 6-10 MIAA) were down just six at halftime, but the Lions stretched their lead to 13 points at the end of the third quarter.
Erika Schlosser led Northwest with 10 points and three rebounds. Mallory McConkey added six points and eight rebounds.
