816LIVE! has announced its 2026-27 season of live performances in St. Joseph, featuring a lineup of tribute concerts, family entertainment and two special non-season events.
The Performing Arts Association of St. Joseph will host performances ranging from tribute bands honoring the Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin and Journey to a comedy stunt show featuring rescued dogs.
Executive Director Paul Storiale said the dog comedy show is designed to provide family-friendly entertainment for the community.
“Everybody loves dogs,” Storiale said. “Dogs keep our hearts full, and with comedy and dogs in charge of the comedy, I think it’s a good night of laughter and fun.”
In addition to the regular season lineup, 816LIVE! will present two special events outside the season package.
A musical comedy dinner show, “Youngish at Heart,” is scheduled for Nov. 7 at Missouri Western State University. Another event will feature the runner-up from the 2025 “American Idol” finale in a summer country music concert Aug. 8 at the Missouri Theatre.
Storiale said excitement surrounding the upcoming season has led to strong season ticket sales.
“People are really excited about it,” Storiale said. “I haven’t seen the excitement like this before for this coming season. We’ve got a lot more season ticket holders calling in this year than I’ve ever seen.”
Single-show tickets go on sale May 26. Season tickets are available now by calling 816-279-1225.
