A St. Joseph performing arts group is wrapping up its season with three concerts scheduled over the next few weeks, offering a range of musical styles from pop to classic rock and soul.
816 LIVE will present three distinct performances, each highlighting music from a different decade and genre. Performing Arts Association Executive Director Paul Storiale said the shows are designed to give audiences more than just a concert experience.
“Our final three shows are music that changed the world in some way in a different decade from each other, and it's just really exciting because when you walk into the theater you're going to experience these groups, not just see a concert, but experience what it was like to see these groups,” Storiale said.
The lineup begins Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with “Are You Ready For It, A Taylor Experience,” a family-friendly tribute to Taylor Swift.
The series continues Sunday, April 26, at 5 p.m. with “Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience,” which allows the audience to help create the set list.
The season concludes Sunday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by The Drifters, featuring hits such as “Under the Boardwalk” and “Save the Last Dance for Me.”
Storiale said live music plays an important role in bringing people together.
“It’s really important, especially now — there’s no politics attached, it’s music,” he said. “It’s music bringing everybody together. Everybody’s singing, dancing in the aisles and having a great time together with no negativity around them for two hours. That’s really what we need as a community and as a region and the world.”
Tickets for the season's final three shows are on sale now. The Performing Arts Association will announce the new 2026/2027 Season on May 4th.
