A Maryville local is in the running for the Missouri 6th District congressman position. He is a first-time candidate looking to take over for the predecessor, Congressman Sam Graves.

Six projects in Northwest Missouri have received a combined $1.3 million from the state Department of Economic Development to invest in the safety, livability, and general improvement of communities across the region. The money comes as part of the 2025 Community Block Grant Development Program.
