Sundell, Seahawks claim Super Bowl LX over Patriots

Maryville native Jalen Sundell and the Seattle Seahawks dominated the New England Patriots en route to a 29-13 Super Bowl 60 victory.

Sundell, the starting center for the Seahawks, paved the way for the rushing attack led by Kenneth Walker III. Walker rushed for 135 yards on 27 carries to earn Super Bowl MVP honors.

The stout Seattle defense set the tone at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. New England quarterback Drake Maye was sacked six times, threw two interceptions, and lost a fumble.

A 2018 Maryville High School graduate, Sundell has won at every stop along the way during his football journey. He won a state championship for the Spoofhounds in 2017 and was the Missouri Class 3 Offensive Player of the Year. During a decorated college career at North Dakota State, he earned a trio of national championships.
