Northwest 67, Emporia State 79

Northwest Missouri State finished the regular season with a 79-67 loss to Emporia State.

The Bearcats (6-22, 4-15 MIAA) were beat up on the glass, getting outrebounded 41-32 and giving up 15 second-chance points to the Hornets.

Northwest took care of the basketball only surrendering five turnovers on the afternoon, but they struggled shooting from deep making just five-of-20 three-point attempts.

Luke Moustakas was the leading scorer with 18 points. Marcus Glock came off the bench to score 13.

Emorie Knox chipped in with 10 points, while Byron Alexander scored eight points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
