The Emporia State University men's basketball snapped a nine-game losing streak against the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats at White Auditorium with a 75-56 victory.

Emporia State improves to 17-6 overall and 12-5 in the MIAA, while Northwest drops to 21-3 overall and 14-2 in league play.

ESU hit on 49.1% of its shots, while Northwest shot 37.7% from the floor. ESU went 6-of-19 from three-point range. Northwest connected only 5-of-26 from deep.

Northwest will remain on the road and travel to Pittsburg State for a Thursday matchup with the Gorillas. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m. in Pittsburg, Kansas.
