Northwest baseball will attempt to dodge cold weather and play its first series of the season this weekend, while Bearcat basketball is at home and track & field hits the road for the first time.

Northwest men's and women's basketball rolled through Missouri Western Saturday. Now the men's team will try to knock off the Griffons tonight, while the Bearcat women's team turns its focus to Pittsburg State and Missouri Southern. Coaches Ben McCollum and Austin Meyer join the show to discuss the upcoming challenges.

Northwest track & field heads to Topeka, KS after four straight weeks at home in the Hughes Fieldhouse. This weekend's meet is a primer before heading to the MIAA championships February 27. Brandon Masters joins the show to discuss his team's progress over the last month.

Bearcat baseball is also scheduled to play in Durant, Oklahoma this weekend against Southeastern Oklahoma State and Washburn. Darin Loe talks about the long off-season and his expectations for Northwest.
