Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Joseph will celebrate its new office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon today at 109 S. Fourth St.
Executive Director Cheyenne Dorrell-Giles said the larger location will provide more opportunities for mentors and youth to spend time together while giving the organization room to expand.
"We have recently moved to a new location, and it's a much bigger space, so we can have our matches come and do fun activities here," Dorrell-Giles said. "It's just a really wonderful office, a wonderful space for this next step in our journey, so our kids can feel really comfortable coming here and hanging out, and we have room to grow here as well."
The community is invited to attend the event and learn more about the organization's mentoring programs. Food, drinks and promotional items will be available, and attendees can participate in contests for prizes.
