BA Marketing and Publicity is marking its 10th anniversary of serving the Shenandoah area with a community block party scheduled for July 17.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Arrowhead Realty in Shenandoah. Attendees can enjoy complimentary donuts and coffee while visiting with local businesses. Nearby food trucks and participating businesses will also offer special promotions throughout the day until closing time.
Bethann Tillman, owner of BA Marketing and Publicity, said the event is designed to strengthen community connections and encourage residents to explore local businesses.
“My goal is for people to come possibly visit a place they've never gone that they've been meaning to, but yet to also soak in the fact that this is someone who's in the community with them and is a part of this,” Tillman said. “I'm really aiming for a community-building event where we not only get to know each other, but we patronize each other's businesses as well.”
BA Marketing and Publicity has partnered with neighboring businesses since June 8 to promote special sales and activities tied to the celebration. The event highlights the contributions local businesses make to the Shenandoah community while recognizing the partnerships built over the past decade.
Tillman said the anniversary celebration is also an opportunity to thank the businesses and community members who have supported her company over the years.
“In doing our work, not only do we make a living and then put our money back into the community we live in, we get to help the businesses that we work with succeed and grow,” Tillman said. “It's a huge opportunity to celebrate. I'm overwhelmed with awe and gratitude for everybody who's made it possible.”
