ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Starting Monday, Aug. 25, the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge on U.S. Route 169 in Worth County will close to allow for a bridge deck replacement.
The Missouri Department of Transportation has hired Capital Paving & Construction, LLC to complete work on several bridges in the region, including the Middle Fork Grand River and East Fork Grand River bridges in Worth County, as well as the Zounds Creek Bridge in Gentry County.
Traffic Information: While crews are working, Route 169 will be closed at the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge. Drivers will need to follow a signed detour using Route 46, County Route C, County Route M, and back to Route 169. The bridge is expected to reopen in October 2025.
