Northwest Missouri State found its new cross country and distance coach.
Myles Bach will fill the void left after Wick Cunningham departed from the university to pursue other career opportunities.
Bach served as an assistant coach at Washburn for a season, then worked as the head cross country coach and a track and field assistant last year at Beloit College.
A graduate of Center Point-Urbana High School in northern Iowa, his collegiate career began at Gonzaga where he redshirted for a season, then competed in cross country and indoor track and field in 2019. Bach transferred to Nebraska Kearney to finish his career where he was all-region three times and a national qualifier in 2022.
Bach will lead a Northwest cross country program that's landed six All-America honors on the men's side since 2023.
