Northwest to be featured twice during MIAA Game of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Northwest Missouri State football will be featured twice on the MIAA Game of the Week during the 2025 season.

The MIAA announced its continued partnership with Scripps Media, and the conference will televise a key matchup on KMCI, 38 The Spot, each week throughout the fall.

Northwest Missouri State's first appearance will come on September 6 during a road game against Washburn. The battle will feature a pair of first-year head coaches leading their alma maters, with John McMenamin at the helm for the Bearcats and Zach Watkins leading the Ichabods.

Northwest will return to the game of the week on September 27 when they host the defending conference champs, Central Oklahoma.

KMCI is available to area residents through various cable and satellite providers including United Fiber, Optimum and an over-the-air signal.
