After a week to rest and get ready for a deep playoff run, Maryville is set to take the field at the Hound Pound against a familiar postseason opponent.
The Spoofhounds meet the Richmond Spartans for the sixth time since 2015. Maryville won four of the previous five meetings, and used an 8-1 mark on the season to earn the No. 2 seed in Class 3, District 8. The Spartans are 8-2 and the No. 3 seed.
Maryville head coach Matt Webb and senior Will McCollough spoke about the matchup with the Spartans, and the opportunity to start a new season Friday night at home.
