Fresh off a statement win over Blair Oaks, Maryville is set for its home opener against Pleasant Hill tonight at 7pm.
In addition to the first game on their home field, it is also Youth Night. Local youth flag and tackle football players will don their jerseys to join the team in the locker room for the pregame speech, then run on the field with the varsity squad.
Maryville is also opening up a tailgating lot for the first time with fans encouraged to bring lawn chairs, tents and snacks to enjoy prior to the game.
Head football coach Matt Webb and senior captain Will McCollough joined KXCV-KRNW in studio this morning to highlight the matchup and the festivities surrounding the game.
