Michael Shapiro, American Composer and Conductor

Michael Shapiro

In 2002, New York-based composer Michael Shapiro wrote a symphonic score for the 1931 film version of Frankenstein; the original had no soundtrack. This October, the St. Joseph Symphony is performing the work live alongside a screening of the film. Shapiro joined the Morning Conversation to discuss the work.
