Northwest Missouri State's season came to a close in Big Rapids, Michigan for the second season in a row after a 25-3 loss at the hands of Ferris State in the Super Region 3 Championship game.

The Bearcats (12-2) trailed just 3-0 at halftime, but the Bulldogs broke through in the final two quarters to earn a trip to the NCAA Division 2 National Semifinals.

Alec Tatum continued a solid playoff campaign matching a season-high with five receptions for 55 yards.

Blake Bayer also posted a career-high 16 tackles.
