Northwest Missouri State cross country will pursue a region championship this weekend, while the regular season finishes up for soccer, and football and volleyball hit the road.
Bearcat cross country claimed an MIAA title on the men's side in the final meet of October, and the women put together a strong fourth place finish. Now it's do-or-die time for each team with the NCAA Central Region meet from Joplin schedule for Saturday. Coach Wick Cunningham and seniors Lou Macquaire and Barnabe Gabillet join the show to discuss the strong performances this fall, and the urgency that comes with this weekend's meet.
Northwest football returns home for Senior Day against rival Missouri Western Saturday. The Bearcats have reeled off eight consecutive wins, including a 41-14 drubbing of Emporia State last week.
