The City of St. Joseph will hold its first Community Safety Fair on Saturday in the College Park neighborhood.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at College Hill Park, located at 12th and Henry streets. Staff from the city’s police, health, public works, and planning and community development departments will be on hand to meet with residents.
City officials say the goal of the event is to reduce crime and improve living conditions in neighborhoods across St. Joseph.
In addition to information and services, attendees can enjoy free ice cream and conversation with city staff throughout the afternoon.
