The city of Trenton will celebrate its 40th annual Missouri Day Fair this weekend, October 17th through 18th.
Kayla Graham with the Trenton Chamber of Commerce said the event gives the community an opportunity to come together and celebrate.
“The main thing is, it just brings in a lot of people who are from Trenton as well as those around the surrounding community that’ll come back home for Missouri Days,” Graham said. “It’s always held the third weekend in October, so the weekend hasn’t changed. It’s always been consistent.”
This year’s theme, “Anchored in History,” marks both the 40th anniversary of the festival and the 100th anniversary of North Central Missouri College. The event will feature more than 100 vendors and a high school band competition with over 20 schools participating on Saturday.
