- Before the break in summertime temperatures, the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services reports nearly 4,200 people went to emergency rooms this year for heat related illnesses.
- The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports crashes that took place south of Stanberry and near the Linn-Macon county line.
