Patients of Maryville's Mosaic Walk-In medical clinic now have the option of checking in ahead making the trip to the clinic.

Mosaic's online My Chart service now has a feature called On My Way. That provides the clinic team with an expected arrival time and streamlines the check in process.

Patients can use the On My Way feature 45 minutes after the Maryville clinic opens to 90 minutes before the clinic closes.

And patients should pay attention to their expected arrival timeframe because those who arrive later than scheduled may be removed, which will require patients to resubmit their information.

News release from Mosaic Life Care:

Patients visiting the Mosaic Walk-In Clinic – Maryville now have a new option to make accessing walk-in care more convenient.

Beginning Monday, October 26, patients can use On My Way, a feature within MyChart that allows them to notify the clinic they are on their way before arriving. The feature provides the care team with an expected arrival time and helps patients enter the queue prior to reaching the clinic.

On My Way is already available at Mosaic Life Care at St. Joseph – Urgent Care and is now expanding to serve patients in the Maryville community.

“On My Way provides patients with a simple, convenient way to let our care teams know they are coming while healing streamline the check-in process,” said Mary Jo Riley, practice manager at Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville. “It is another example of how Mosaic is making it easier for patients to access the care they need.”

How On My Way Works
Patients can access On My Way through MyChart by:

  • Logging in to MyChart
  • Selecting Menu, then Find Urgent Care
  • Reviewing nearby care locations
  • Selecting the appropriate location and choosing On My Way
  • Completing the requested information and arriving within the timeframe provided

It is important for patients to understand that On My Way is not an appointment or scheduled visit. Instead, the feature lets the care team know a patient is on the way and places them in line with other patients waiting to be seen.

Patients should also pay attention to their expected arrival timeframe. Those who arrive later than the timeframe provided may be removed from the queue and need to resubmit their information.

To provide better patient flow and reduce time spent in the waiting room, patients can begin using the On My Way feature 45 minutes after the clinic opens. On My Way will be available until 90 minutes prior to the clinic closing.

By expanding On My Way to Maryville, Mosaic continues to enhance convenience and improve access to walk-in and urgent care services across northwest Missouri.
