Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) announces the arrival of a new ambulance and a second one coming before the end of January.

The purchase of the critical care transport vehicle nicknamed Medic 3 was possible in part through a grant.

The ambulance has updated equipment that will help ensure the EMS team at CRHC has the resources necessary to deliver safe, efficient, and timely emergency care.

A new transport ambulance is scheduled to arrive at CRHC in the next 90 days.

News release from Clarinda Regional Health Center:

Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) is excited to announce the arrival of a new ambulance, Medic 3, marking another investment in emergency medical services and the continued commitment to providing high-quality care to the communities it serves.

The new ambulance will replace an older unit in CRHC's existing fleet, providing EMS personnel with updated equipment and a reliable vehicle to respond to emergency calls throughout the region. This addition will help ensure that CRHC's EMS team has the resources necessary to deliver safe, efficient, and timely emergency care.

The purchase of the ambulance was made possible in part through grant funding secured by CRHC, helping support the organization's continued investment in emergency medical services.

"This new ambulance is an important addition to our EMS department and the communities we serve," said Chuck Nordyke, CEO of Clarinda Regional Health Center. "When someone calls for emergency assistance, they depend on our team to respond quickly and provide exceptional care. Having reliable, well-equipped ambulances allows our EMS professionals to do what they do best—care for patients when they need it most."

The arrival of Medic 3 is part of CRHC's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve its emergency medical services. Looking ahead, CRHC anticipates the arrival of an additional transport ambulance in approximately 90 days. This second addition will further strengthen CRHC's ability to provide dependable medical transportation and support the growing needs of patients throughout the region.

The addition of Medic 3, along with the upcoming transport ambulance, reflects Clarinda Regional Health Center's continued dedication to advancing exceptional care and supporting the health and safety of the communities it serves.
