The Livingston County sheriff's office is looking for those responsible for stealing several stop signs from an intersection of county roads just north of Chillicothe High School.

A post on the sheriff's Facebook page that includes surveillance video says the materials and labor cost of replacing the signs is more than $1,000 dollars.

And the post brings up the major safety concern that missing signs could result in crashes resulting in death and life changing injuries.

Anyone with information about the sign thefts is asked to contact the Livingston County sheriff's office at 660-646-0515 during business hours or their dispatch center at 660-646-2121. Information can also be e-mailed to cmacrander@livcoso.org or dwoelfle@livcoso.org.

Bill Oliver has returned to his alma mater as News Director for KXCV/KRNW after leading award winning news operations as part of a career that has also included sports, operations, management, and sales at public and commercial radio stations in Texas, Kansas, and Nebraska.

A 1981 Northwest Missouri State University graduate, Oliver was deeply involved with KXCV and KDLX as a student, hosting music and news programs, calling sports broadcasts, and helping keep the station on the air after the 1979 Administration Building fire.

Oliver says his return is motivated by a desire to be closer to family and to give back to the university and the mentors who helped shape his broadcasting career.
