How can you capture a story in 400 photos? This was one of the challengers for 40 photographers who were in Maryville last week as part of the 78th Missouri Photo Workshop.
The workshop invited 40 photographers around the globe to towns in Missouri and challenges them to find a story to tell in 400 photos.
The workshop invited photographers of all skill levels to challenge themselves by coming to an area they are not familiar with and telling the story of an unfamiliar town.
Missouri Photo Workshop Co-director Lynden Steele says coming to an unfamiliar area can be an exciting challenge for photographers.

This was not the first time the workshop has been to Maryville. The workshop's first time in Maryville was back in 1989.
The event wrapped up with a photo exhibition with the over 400 photos taken last week and 200 photos from the original workshop in 1989.
Steele says that despite the 37 year gap, people may have noticed some similarities between the photos.
