The agenda for Monday's (September 28) Chillicothe city council meeting includes a visit from the superintendent of Chillicothe schools. The purpose of Dan Wiebers scheduled visit is for the council to consider the concept of a new bus barn that includes a protective canopy to park 12 buses on a gravel lot.
The Chillicothe council will also consider preliminary plans to turn the old hospital grounds into a housing development containing 54 lots over a seven block area bordered by Central, Broadway, Maple and 11th Street.
Also on the agenda, is discussing the possible remodeling of city hall and maintenance of the building...and consider the mayor's re-appointments to the parks and recreation advisory board, the board of adjustments, and the housing board.
The meeting starts with a review of the city audit at 5 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30.
