A heads up to motorists in St. Joseph who use Frederick Avenue to and from the downtown area.
Wednesday (September 23) is the first day of street closures as natural gas mains are replaced, starting with the closure on Frederick between 25th and 26th and working west towards Frederick and 22nd.
Street closures will take place daily between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
A notice on the city's Facebook page does not say how long the project will take to complete.
