The Andrew County Foundation encourages individuals, businesses, and families throughout the area to take advantage of a matching donation challenge.
The deadline is September 30th for the donation to qualify for the match from the Patterson Family Foundation.
The Patterson Family Foundation has pledged up to $50,000 dollars for the Andrew County Fund, which is designed to provide a permanent source of money to support local organizations and projects.

The Andrew County Foundation is encouraging individuals, families and businesses throughout the county to take advantage of a special matching opportunity available through September 30.
The Patterson Family Foundation has committed up to $50,000 in matching funds to help grow the Andrew County Fund. For every $2 donated locally, the Patterson Family Foundation will contribute an additional $1, increasing each gift by 50%.
That means a $100 donation becomes $150, while a $1,000 contribution becomes $1,500 invested in the future of Andrew County.
The community’s goal is to raise $100,000 by September 30, which would unlock the full $50,000 Patterson Family Foundation match.
“This is an opportunity to take every dollar we raise locally and make it work even harder for Andrew County,” said Jeff Pittman of the Andrew County Foundation. “Whether someone gives $25, $100 or $10,000, it all moves us closer to building a permanent fund that can continue supporting Andrew County for generations.”
Unlike a one-time fundraising campaign, the Andrew County Fund is designed to provide a permanent source of support. As the fund grows, approximately 4% is available annually for grants, allowing the Foundation to support local organizations, projects and community needs while preserving the fund for the future.
“Our goal isn’t simply to raise money for today,” Pittman added. “We are building something that can still be giving back to Andrew County 20, 50 and even 100 years from now.”
Contributions can support the long-term strength of Andrew County and help provide resources for community projects and organizations throughout the county.
Donations may be made online through the Andrew County Foundation giving page through the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri or by check payable to the Andrew County Fund, mailed to 1006 W. St. Maartens Dr., Suite B, St. Joseph, MO 64506.
