A manhunt south of Maryville that began before sunset Monday night (September 14) was suspended due to darkness.
The Facebook page of the Nodaway County sheriff’s office says they know who they are after.
The Facebook post says the suspect fled on foot following a vehicle pursuit.
The reason for the pursuit has not been disclosed.
A perimeter was set up west of Highway 71 and south of Pumpkin Center in the area of 370th Street and Ideal Road.
This is the second time in five weeks the sheriff’s office has been involved in a manhunt following a vehicle pursuit south of Maryville. On August 9th, two men were taken into custody in the area of 71 and Highway U west of Arkoe.
