The first concert at downtown Maryville's new pavilion features red dirt country artists and other activities.
Taking place Saturday night (August 29) is "Stampede the Ville".
Organized by the owner of The Pub, Adam Marriot noted they are benefitting from being across Main Street from the pavilion, and he's excited to be utilizing it as a concert venue.

There will be performances by Josh Meloy, Mac Hankins and the Moonlighters and a local band called Creeker.
A charitable aspect to the event is a raffle for a guitar signed by Josh Meloy to benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Nodaway County.
The event, which starts Saturday at six p.m., will also have four food trucks, local vendors, and a mechanical bull.
A post on the Downtown Maryville Facebook page thanked Marriot for using the pavilion "to work for another great community event!"
The post also asked Downtown Maryville Market vendors and shoppers who will be at the pavilion on Saturday morning for their patience as crews prepare for the evening event.
