Chillicothe police respond Wednesday morning (August 12) just before 11 to the report of an unattended child walking on the Polk Street bridge over the railroad tracks.
With the assistance of the Livingston County sheriff's office, the child's parents were found.
The child was returned to the parents, who live outside the Chillicothe city limits.
No other information was released, including the child's age or how the child was separated from their parents.

At 10:41 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an unattended child walking on the Polk Street Bridge. Officers responded and picked up the child. Officers later located the parent(s) of the child with the assistance of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. The child was returned to the parent(s) who resided outside of the City Limits.
