The Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri Community Forestry Council are accepting nominations for the 2026 Missouri Arbor Award of Excellence.
The annual award recognizes communities, businesses, organizations, institutions and individuals that have made a lasting impact through tree care and community forestry efforts across Missouri.
Eligible nominations include tree-related programs, projects or events completed within the past two years that have helped improve or maintain trees in Missouri communities.
Award recipients will receive a framed award, a full registration scholarship to the Missouri Community Forestry Council Conference in September in Springfield, an additional banquet ticket, a community forestry reference book and a $50 gift card.
Nominations must be submitted by Aug. 24.
