A new restaurant is coming to the Mozingo Event Center, filling the space left vacant about a year ago by the William Coy Restaurant, a farm-to-table bistro that operated at Mozingo for six years.
Kim and Mike Howard of Platte City, Missouri, have signed a lease to open Lake 75 Tavern, a family-friendly sports bar and grill featuring what they describe as an elevated but casual menu. The restaurant will offer a variety of American fare, including pizza, burgers, wings and salads, along with beer, wine and cocktails.
City officials say the restaurant will serve everyday diners, Mozingo Lake golfers and visitors to the area. They added that Lake 75 Tavern is expected to support community events, celebrations and gatherings held at the Event Center.
The City of Maryville, which operates Mozingo Lake Park, welcomed the announcement, saying the addition will boost tourism and strengthen Maryville’s reputation as a regional destination in northwest Missouri.
An opening date has not yet been announced. Updates will be shared on Lake 75 Tavern’s social media accounts and through the city’s official communication channels.
