The Missouri Department of Conservation is inviting the public to complete their hunter education certification during a skills session on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The session, held at Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center, is the final step to becoming hunter certified in Missouri and is open to participants ages 11 and older.
Attendees must complete the knowledge portion of the certification before the event. That can be done online for a fee or by using the free student manual. Participants choosing the manual option should bring it to the session for instructor review.
More information and registration details are available on the Missouri Department of Conservation’s website under the events tab.
